WIMA, The Werner Icking Music Archive is named after its founder, Werner Icking (1943-2001). WIMA was created with the purpose of supporting and distributing TeX based music engraving software. The archive also offered sheet music, much of it engraved with its own MusiXTeX software. Through the years the score collection grew to a considerable size and over 2012-2014 was merged with the International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP)
This is the definitive archive of software related to MusiXTeX, a music typesetting system based on TeX. If you do not have this system installed, you should visit the pages Introduction and Getting Started to see what is required. To access the MusiXTeX software archive, choose between the software page (with descriptions and links), and file directory, which contains all our linked files.
